***NOTE*** LizArt Design is no longer taking new tie-dye orders or doing new parties. The business has closed, and this website will be removed in the coming months. Thank you all for your loyalty over the past few years. We've had a blast! We are still taking logo and graphic design orders on a time-available basis. (Noted January 1, 2006) ****
Sincerely,
Liz Friedman and the Lizart Design Staff

LizArt Design was founded in 2001 by Liz Friedman, after she made her first tie-dyed shirt using professional grade fiber-reactive dyes and became hooked. Her vibrant designs and interesting patterns were an instant hit at the 2001 Reston Festival. It soon became obvious that demand existed for folks to make their own tie-dye shirts, so the tie-dye party program was begun. LizArt Design is now the premier provider of quality one-of-a-kind hand dyed garments; custom tie-dye orders; and tie-dye parties for individuals, groups and corporations in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
Meet our staff! Here are some photos taken at the Shaker Forest Festival, 2001, when we were dressed in our tie-dye "period" costumes....
