| Camp and School Programs | ***NOTE*** LizArt Design is no longer doing new camp or school programs. The business has closed, and this website will be removed in the coming months. Thank you all for your loyalty over the past few years. We've had a blast! We are still taking logo and graphic design orders on a time-available basis. (Noted January 1, 2006) ****
Sincerely,
Liz Friedman and the Lizart Design Staff

Tired of the same old craft projects? Want your
campers and/or students to create tie-dye t-shirts like the pros do?
LizArt Design has pioneered an easy, no-mess
method to make spiral, spider, and crush pattern
t-shirts in less than an hour! Kids of all ages will
be thrilled with the results.
During a brief introduction period, children are
shown a variety of t-shirt patterns they can produce,
and are taught the two major folds needed to make
these designs. After donning smocks and goves,
they fold their shirts and apply the dyes, with the
help of visual instruction aids provided by LizArt
Design. (NOTE: For most school and some camp programs, you may prefer to have shirts pre-soaked and pre-folded, as described in the "Parties" section of the website. It takes far less time and space.)
Day Camps & Schools: Children are given their completed
shirts, still wet, in a plastic bag with written washing
instructions, inside a larger "goodie" bag to take
home. The following day (8-24 hours later) they can
wash out their shirts at home and wear them the
third day to camp or school!
Overnight Camps: LizArt Design staff will rinse,
wash, dry, iron and fold all of the completed shirts,
and will provide them to campers in goodie bags
marked with their names, one or two days after
completion.

| PROGRAM COSTS |
- Day Camps & Schools: $15.00/child*
- Overnight Camps: $16.00/child*
*20 child minimum; 5% discount available for groups larger than 100
Price includes 5.6-oz., 100% cotton t-shirts with cotton
thread for dyeing, dropcloths, tablecovers, pans,
smocks, gloves, all chemicals and dyes, rubber
bands, paper towels, plastic bags, LizArt "goodie"
bags, use of proprietary visual instruction aids,
and personal one-on-one instruction by a trained
LizArt Design staff member.
Additionally, for overnight camps, the price includes
labor for rinsing, washing, drying and ironing all
shirts, plus all supplies (e.g., detergent) for such.
Camp programs typically take more than one day,
depending on the number of children participating, whereas smaller school programs can take as little as one to two hours. If children are folding their own shirts, plan on 6-12 children/hour (depending on their age),
and please allow 10 min. between hourly sessions. If children will be using pre-folded shirts, plan on 6 children every 20 minutes, so we can accommodate up to 24 children/hour.
